Community Impact

Sabanci Renewables Inc. recently acquired the 272 MW Cutlass II solar photovoltaic project in Houston, Texas (ERCOT). The project is under construction and expected to be completed by Q2 2024. The acquisition of Cutlass II is a significant step in Sabanci Renewables Inc.'s expansion into the US renewable energy market.

The project in Fort Bend County will power 80,000+ homes, create 300+ jobs during construction and ten permanent jobs in operation, and bring long-term economic benefits. Additionally, it will reduce air pollution,  greenhouse gas emissions and conserve water.
